This weekend, the annual Ouray Jeep Raffle will once again return, allowing one lucky person a chance to win a new Jeep they can use to explore the San Juan Mountains! This year’s Jeep is a stylish 4×4 Wrangler Sport in silver boasting a tow package in addition to a custom Red Mountains decal. As you might guess, this Jeep will have you traveling over all the rugged trails in and around Ouray provided you have the off-roading experience!
Perhaps you’re unfamiliar with the Ouray Jeep Raffle? The 50+ year tradition has generally centered around raising funds for local student scholarships. Funds generated have also been used towards Ouray’s economic and marketing development plus community events and holiday celebrations like New Year’s Eve.
If you’re interested in the Jeep raffle you can purchase $5, $10, and $20 tickets for one, three, and seven tickets, respectively. The drawing is happening tomorrow October 7, 2017, during the Oktoberfest celebrations at the Ouray Community Center.
