Tomorrow is the Fourth of July and Colorado will be celebrating it in style with lots of different events going on. Let’s explore some of the highlights so you can figure out how you’d like to spend Independence Day 2019.
Over in Telluride, the annual Fourth of July Celebration is kicking off at 11 am on Main Street and is happening all day. Food, music, and more will provide lots of fun and grub and it will be followed by a fireman’s park picnic featuring plenty of events and games for the whole family. Beginning bright and early at 8 am is the OURAYCE 10k which benefits schools right here in Ouray. Registration kicks off at 7 am and the race will start at 320 6th Avenue at City Hall. Explore Ouray and its hillsides for just $15 a person.
Speaking of Fourth of July celebrations, Ouray is having its own Fourth of July Main Street Parade beginning at 10 am. Bring the kids as there will be free games to enjoy starting at 11 am over in Fellin Park.
