When you visit Colorado, you know that there is adventure in store somewhere around the corner. Kayaking, white water rafting, and hiking are some of the most popular early fall outdoor activities. Exploring ghost towns and historic mining areas are in no shortage – good news for the history buff. If adventure is more of your thing, then Ouray Mountain Adventures has you covered.

Ouray Mountain Adventures offers Jeep rentals near our Ouray Colorado lodging location for those who are ready to get out and explore all the wonders of the Rocky Mountains. With five different levels of four-wheel adventures, you can explore the San Juan region, take in the wildflowers, wildlife, and get views of the leaves changing colors you can’t get anywhere else.

New to offroading? No problem! The class one (easy) trails like Last Dollar Road are easy to navigate and most noted for their fall beauty. Feeling a little more advanced? Check out level 3 (difficult) trails like Cinnamon Pass, which takes you to Lake Fork of the Gunnison River and past Lake San Cristobal to Lake City (the Alpine Loop) – it’s a great way to take in a large portion of the region.
